Facing strong Division II teams, Chabot received invaluable exposure and placed 11th at the Tim Tierney Men's Shootout At The Club at Ruby Hill, which concluded on Tuesday.

Heetae Yang paced the Gladiators with a two-day total of 10-over 226 (76-77-73) and Jacob Malone was next at 227 (76-74-77).

Chabot had a team score of 910 at the event host by Cal State East Bay. Colorado-Colorado Springs took top honors at 870.

The tourney marked Chabot's first competition against Division II programs.

"It was a great learning experience for our program and certainly we hope that our team benefited by the exposure and lessons they learned in this tournament," Chabot coach Zack Papachristos said.

Chabot's John Fracisco and Davon Canty both finished at 232 and Zach McClure shot 234. Three Chabot players competed as individuals: Ryan Torres (229), Robby Torres (231) and Marcus Williams (243).
