TrackMan System Bolsters Chabot Baseball
A new stadium TrackMan system has quickly become a valuable asset to Chabot College baseball and continues to positively impact player development, recruiting, and overall program success.
With access to advanced analytics and real-time data, Chabot players and coaches are able to make more informed adjustments in practice and competition.
"The continued use of this technology plays an important role in helping Chabot remain one of the top programs in Northern California," Chabot assistant Jake Ruiz said.
The system provides detailed information on pitch velocity, spin rate, pitch movement, exit velocity, launch angle, and ball flight, allowing Chabot's coaching staff to better evaluate performance and create individualized development plans.
The TrackMan system has also enhanced the team's ability to help players transfer to four-year programs. Verified data and analytics are now a major part of the recruiting process at the NCAA and professional levels, and Gladiators' players are able to share accurate performance metrics directly with college coaches and scouts. This has increased player exposure and strengthened Chabot's reputation for developing high-level talent.
Chabot baseball has a storied history in the region. The Gladiators added to that with a fourth consecutive conference title in 2026.
The addition of a stadium TrackMan system helps separate Chabot from other junior college baseball programs. Providing athletes with access to the same technology used by Division I and professional organizations demonstrates Chabot's commitment to player development and competitive excellence.
