The Gladiators are coming off another productive week, in which they notched an 83-73 road win over American River on Dec. 12 and fell to unbeaten state No. 4 Columbia 77-56 in Hayward on Dec. 15.
The Gladiators (8-2), ranked No. 19 in the Dec. 9 CCCMBCA state poll, had nice balance against American River. Five Chabot players reached double-digit scoring: Kyle Brown (16 points, 6 rebounds); Jabari Sweet (10 points, 10 rebounds); Skylar Robinson (10 points, 5 rebounds); Izayah Talmadge (10 points, 5 rebounds); and Akili Daniels (10 points, 5 rebounds).
The Gladiators will continue preparations for the Coast Conference-North Division season with a home game against Cabrillo at 7 p.m. on Wednesday.
After Christmas, the Gladiators will head down south for three games in the Alan Hancock Holiday Classic in Santa Barbara before opening conference play with a doozy against City College of San Francisco on Jan. 8.
