CHABOT REBOUNDS STRONGLY

The Chabot men's basketball team snapped a three-game losing streak in grand style with a 90-51 blowout of host De Anza on Jan. 23 in the Coast Conference-North Division.

Sophomore Amani Johnson led the way with a game-high 20 points, along with nine rebounds, four assists and four steals, and Zion Yeargin had a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds, along with six assists and a block.

Kamari King stepped up with 14 points and five assist. The Glads shot 54 percent from the floor, and the starters were 7 of 13 from 3-point range.

Chabot (14-6, 3-3) and De Anza 9-11, 3-3) are tied for third in the conference. The Glads will look to keep it rolling at Ohlone on Wednesday, Jan. 28 and at home against Skyline at 7 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 30.
