AS ONE! The Gladiators are Back.
The wait is over — Chabot College Gladiators Men's Soccer is back for the 2025 season! With the rallying cries of "As One!" and "Strength and Honor!", the Gladiators take the field this week, ready to unleash a new chapter of determination and grit.
Last fall, Chabot's 2024 squad fought until the very end, narrowly missing out on the playoffs. That heartbreak has fueled this year's Gladiators, who return with one mission: to use their core values of unity, toughness, and relentless effort to build an identity that's as feared as it is respected. Seven non-conference matchups stand between now and the first test of Coast Conference play on September 26 against Hartnell College — and every one of them will be a step toward proving that the Gladiators belong at the top.
Between the posts — After two standout keepers from last year moved on to NCAA programs, four new Gladiators are battling it out for the chance to command the defense. The competition is fierce, and that intensity is already raising the standard across the team.
In the backline — Returning sophomore Ezra Lynch brings his leadership and presence to anchor a reloaded defense. He'll be joined by incoming warriors Dylan Ramirez, Lucas Parra, Santiago Rodriguez, and Omar Lopez, a unit built to fight together and win duels.
Middle of the park — Midfield is where the Gladiators' heartbeat lies. Emmanuel Silvera, Jose Magallon, Samuel Enguidanos, Jesse Esparza, and Junior Figueroa give Chabot strength, skill, and creativity in the middle of the park. Expect this group to drive the press, set the tempo, and feed the attack.
Up top — Goals win games, and Chabot has the firepower. Veteran forward Elvis Enguidanos returns to lead the line, while newcomers Jesus Lua Amaya, Irvin Ramirez, Brandon Espinoza and Diego Maldonado bring speed, flair, and finishing touch. Together, they're built to create havoc for opposing defenses.
It all begins this Friday, August 29th, on our home field against Merritt College. The energy will be electric and the Gladiators will be ready to march together into the arena.
Strength and Honor. As One. Go Gladiators!
