Gladiators Men’s Soccer Returns to the Playoffs for the First Time Since 2007
For the first time since 2007, Chabot College Men's Soccer is headed to the 3C2A Playoffs. The Gladiators have battled, built, and grown their way back into the postseason, marking a major milestone for the program and everyone involved in its resurgence.
This achievement carries extra meaning for the program — it has been a long road back. In just the third year since the team was reestablished, the Gladiators' return to the playoffs represents a significant step forward and a reminder of what persistence, belief, and unity can accomplish.
Head Coach Aguiar spoke about the accomplishment and those who contributed along the way:
"We continue to take steps forward and grow as a program. We are absolutely thrilled for this group of guys and what they have accomplished thus far. From our players and coaches, to our field crew, athletic trainers, and office staff, everybody played a part in this. Now, we hope that this is just the beginning. Definitely looking forward to competing in these playoffs... As One!"
The Gladiators will travel to Skyline College for the first round of the 3C2A Playoffs on Wednesday, November 19, where they will face a familiar Coast Conference opponent.
This moment represents more than just a return to postseason soccer — it is the next chapter in the Gladiators' comeback story. The culture of hard work, accountability, and unity continues to grow. The foundation is strong, and the future is bright.
Congratulations to the team, staff, and the entire Chabot community for helping make this moment possible.
Go Gladiators!
