The Chabot men’s and women’s tennis teams are off to promising starts in the new season.

Chabot started the season impressively with three commanding wins, beating Modesto and Fresno both 9-0 and Reedley 8-1.
The Gladiators boast four returners: Roger Wen (California HS), Jay Pandit (Irvington), Noah Moeckelmann (Pioneer), and Andrew Wirjadisastra (American)

First-year players are Keegan Yap (American), Sam Smith (Redland East Valley HS). Ben Truong (Mt. Eden), John Samson (James Logan), Kevin Morris (Redwood), Gian Icatar (Alameda), and Kengi Fukunaga (Castro Valley).
Against Reedley, Wirjadisastra took a two-set thriller 2-6 6-3 (10-6).
