In a Coast Conference showdown, Chabot (6-1) fell to rival Foothill 7-2 in a tightly contested match on March 1.
Chabot's Roger Wen rallied for a hard-fought win over Evan Gazikian 4-6, 6-4, 10-6. In doubles Jay Pandit and Ben Truong won their match 8-4.
Wen and Keegan Yap lost a close match 8-6. Noah Moeckleman and Sam Smith also fought hard in an 8-4 doubles defeat.
In other action, Chabot beat Cabrillo 9-0, Santa Rosa 8-1 and Diablo Valley 5-4.
