Chabot Tennis Sweeps SoCal Trip; Fralick Stays Perfect
Josh Fralick won all three of his singles matches as the Chabot men's tennis team swept three contests during its memorable Southern California trip.
The Glads beat Santa Barbara 8-1, College of the Desert 9-0 and Orange Coast, 7-2. Chabot also attended a pro tourney in Indian Wells.
On Saturday, March 7, the Glads prevailed against Orange Coast. Sergio Escobar beat Pittl 6-2, 6-3. Alex Englund defeated Mege, 6-3, 5-7 (10-5). Theeran Sivakumar cruised past Henning, 6-1, 6-1.
Ben Deriquito out-battled Kashiwagi, 6-1, 4-6 (10-5).
Ryan Chan defeated Moore, 6-1, 6-2. Fralick beat Goodman, 6-2, 6-1.
On March 6 against College of the Desert, Englund defeated Ishikawa, 6-3, 6-1. Sivakumar beat Mejia Gonzalez, 6-1, 6-1. Fralick defeated Rubio, 6-3, 6-1.
Aaren Sharma defeated Ramirez, 6-0, 6-0. Justin Ge defeated Cohetero, 6-0, 6-0. Vi Truong swept Garcia Jimenez, 6-0, 6-0.
On March 5 against Santa Barbara, Escobar defeated Loris Alem, 5-7, 7-4 (10-4). Sivakumar defeated Ludi Chan, 4-6, 6-2 (10-6). Gavin Jacutin defeated Matias Lapidivs, 6-1, 6-4.
Ryan Chan defeated Herman Sasodahl, 4-6, 7-6 (10-6).
Fralick defeated Floris Van Bladell, 6-3, 6-2.
