GLADS IN NORCAL FINALS

The sensational season continues for the Chabot men's tennis team.

The Gladiators won their quarterfinal and semifinal matches by 9-0 scores in the Northern CA Dual Team Playoffs and will host Foothill Junior College in the NorCal Finals at 1 p.m., Saturday, April 18.

Chabot defeated Clovis, 9-0, on April 7 and American River, 9-0, and April 24.

Saturday's winner will compete for the CA State Team Championship against the Southern California champion on April 22.

Chabot also hosted the Coast Conference Tournament last Thursday-Saturday, but rain forced the suspension of play after Chabot had advanced three of its four doubles teams to the semifinals. The tourney will finish soon.
