CHABOT RUNNERS MAKING STRIDES
The Chabot cross country season is in full flight, and head coach Dooney Jones has a competitive men's team.
The Glads are led by returner Won Choi and freshman Tirdaud Rejaly.
Chabot finished 14th at the 8K San Francisco Invitational at Golden Gate Park last week, facing mostly four-year schools.
Won was 104th among 203 runners in a time of 27:38.7. Rejaly was 110th in 27:50.3.
"I do believe we'll do well in the conference. Our top four runners all PR'd," Jones said.
In an encouraging sign, the Glads' top three finished ahead of our last year's top runner at Chabot, Dylan Baptista, now at Cal State East Bay.
