GLADS HIT THE GROUND RUNNING

The Chabot women's basketball team reeled off three consecutive victories to open the season.
The Glads (3-0) opened with a rout of Mission College, 74-49 on Tuesday, Nov. 5. Freshman Kaida Angelo led the way with 22 points. Sophomore Lex Pletschette added 17 points. The Gladiators outscored Mission 17-1 in the fourth quarter as Sydney Muther had 11 points over the stretch.
"Good start to the season. We played hard, four players in double figures a balanced team," Chabot head coach Mark Anger said.
On Friday, Nov. 9, Chabot bested Modesto Junior College, 72-61. Angelo led the way with 27 points. Pletschette had 13 points, and Chelsy Antinero had 12 on 4 3 pointers.
The Glads also routed Diablo Valley College 68-40 on Saturday, Nov. 10, Angelo had 15 points, and Pletschette had 14. Chabot led 42-17 in the first half..
Chabot hosts Santa Rosa (2-0) at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
