The Gladiators' Rafael Roman-Amador won the 184-pound title at the 3C2A Men's Wrestling State Championship — a two-day meet in Rocklin.
 
Roman-Amador helped the Glads to a 12th-place team finish with 46.5 points.
 
In a thrilling 184 final, Roman-Amador and Joshua Cortez of Lassen battled to a 4-4 tie in an action-packed first period.
 
Roman-Amador took command in the second period with an escape and win by fall with 24 seconds left.
 
Mt. San Antonio College won its third consecutive team title with 166.5 points.
