In action last week, the Glads showed plenty of good form in back-to-back defeats against elite competition.
The Glads fell to City College of San Francisco, ranked fifth in the state, 5-0, and Cañada, ranked ninth, 1-0. CCSF leads the Coast-North, and Cañada tops the Coast-South.
"Our two toughest opponents of the year, but we played well," Chabot head coach Dan Chubbock said.
"For City, we competed, but they have quality in every area of the pitch. We had chances and hit the post after two minutes. 5-0 doesn't tell the story.
"For Canada, we were great for 85 minutes?" he continued, "but a slow start in the second half cost us the game."
The Glads are still in the hunt for the playoffs with two more road games coming up, at Skyline on Friday, Oct. 24 and at Cabrillo on Tuesday, Oct. 28.
