Glads hammers De Anza
The Chabot baseball team clobbered De Anza, 25-4, on Saturday.
Chabot pounded out 23 hits and committed no errors.
Riley Winchell was 3 for 4 with two home runs, a double, and three RBIs.
Terrell Romain was 2 for 3 with two walks, a home run, double, and four RBIs. Sean Cannon pitched a scoreless inning, striking out two.
Chabot improved to 13-16 overall, 7-2 in the Coast Conference-North and is tied for first place.
The Glads opened with three-game set against De Anza with an 11-7 win on the road, but De Anza took Game 2, 4-3, in Hayward on Thursday, March 26.
Winchell leads the conference in home runs with eight, one more than teammate Joseph Coupland. Jonathan Sheppard and Romain both have five Big Flies. Romain tops the conference with 20 stolen bases, and Sheppard is second with 18.
