MENDONCA COACH OF YEAR

Congratulations to Chabot head baseball coach Bryce Mendonca on being selected as Coast Conference-North Division Coach of the Year.

He guided the Glads to a fourth consecutive conference title. They finished a fine 17-3 in conference and 22-19-1 overall, hosting a 3C2A North Regional Playoffs Round 1 series, where their season ended after close defeats to

Cosumnes River, 7-5, in 10 innings, on May 1 and Folsom Lake, 2-1, on May 2.

Glads slugger Riley Winchell earned the Conference Big Stick honor. Winchell was also a unanimous First Team catcher.

Chabot pitchers Declan Casey and Edward Said were First Team picks, and Josh Van Loon was a First Team Relief Pitcher.

Braden Spade made First Team infielder. Jonathan Sheppard was First Team outfielder.
